All-New 2014 Honda City Is Officially Launched With New Engine Options


All-New 2014 Honda City Sedan is officially launched for India and South East Asian (ASEAN) market at November 25th, 2013. The mass productions are taken in Malaysia and India. It is claimed to get superiority to hold mid-sized sedan segment on ASEAN market. So what does this car look like?

This new car has major improvements on fuel economy, design and performance. The significant changes are on engine options. It is designed similar to Jazz or Fit with hybrid engine as an option. It is reported for purpose to cut down the pricing sale, some versions are offered with retaining elements. It embodies new 1.5-liter DTEC hybrid 4-cyliner engine with double-clutch technology to produce power of 116 bhp and torque of 146 Nm. The diesel and petrol engines are also offered.



This 4th generation sedan maximizes its brand strength by providing large cabin with stylish and compact exterior with new svelte lines and light weight. The features on interior are also added with features of safety and entertainment such as InterNavi system and stability control system.

The drive-trains are also reengineered particularly on gears, suspension and chassis so smoother driving experience will be gained. The pricing are not confirmed yet. It will begin at price of Rs 7.5 lakh to Rs 11.50 lakh in India. This car will be tough competitor to Suzuki Ertiga and Mitsubishi Attrage in Thailand, India, Indonesia and Malaysia B segment.
