In 2013 Los Angeles Auto Show, this German automaker has announced it will be launched as hybrid concept car with three engine choices. This A3 Sedan’s engine choices are 1.8-liter direct injection turbo-charging TFSI, 2.0-liter TFSI and 2.0-liter TDI diesel that can deliver 170 hp. The transmission will different to US market and Europe with 6-speed manual transmission. In US, it is offered with 6-speed dual clutch transmission with smooth acceleration and stability. In fact, it focuses on fuel economy with 25 mpg in city and 36 mpg on highway road.

The significant improvements include panoramic glass sunroof, single-frame grille, leather seating surfaces, and full LED headlights that make it luxury vehicle in its class with premium concepts and luxury ergonomics. The drive-select system embraces three modes: dynamic, individual and comfort.
