2015 Honda FCEV Fuel Cell Car With New Concept

As new fuel cell hydrogen car, 2015 Honda FCEV comes with new concept, design and better performance compare to first generation in 1999. This ultra-efficient car is displayed at 2013 Los Angeles Auto Show. It still holds the world record as car with highest fuel economy without hybrid or plug-in battery.

This car also has significant improvement on interior and exterior aspects particularly on design of sleek door that can load five passengers. The rear wheels are also reengineered. The major improvement in new fuel cell power-train design which fuel cell and oxygen generate electricity without burning gas and drive energy to electric motor as well as produce water vapor as emissions. It has different concept to other hybrids and electric cars. See video below.



How is about performance of torque and power of this car? Foxnews.com reported that there is no officially confirmation on detailed specs on power performance but Honda claims that can take 300 miles on highway per filling up at hydrogen fueling station for 3 minutes.



How about price? There is no confirmation on exact pricing of this car on sale. For now, Honda leases this super efficiency car for $6000/month with insurance and fuel in Southern California. Unlike Acura NSX, the barrier to develop this hydrogen can is on small amounts of fueling station in US.
