2014 Honda Jazz with Longer Design and Diesel Engine Option


In 2013 Tokyo Motor Show, 2014 Honda Jazz is officially revealed with longer design and new improvements on its elements. This hatchback will be more longer 60 mm than previous generation. The wheel-base is stretched to make it more spacious for passengers.

Like new city, this next generation Jazz features seven-speed dual-clutch gearbox and two options of engines: 1.2L VTEC engine and 1.5L diesel engine to deliver power of 97kW and torque of 155Nm. The exterior design is also improved to build stronger characters with new aerodynamic concept, sleek grille and strong character line across the body. The interior is also reengineered with spacious rear bench and seats to accommodate more passengers.



It is lighter, more aggressive and stronger with minimum vibrations, dynamic look and comfortable driving. This hatchback will be launched in India on end of 2013 and July 2014 in Australia. The price is confirmed with $2000 price increase compared to previous generation, starting with $15,990-$22,990, whereas the limited edition, Jazz Vibe is most expensive due to its complete features. It is also reported that the hybrid version will be released on early 2015 in Australia.
