2014 Chevrolet Malibu release date is planned on fall 2014. GM really made significant improvements, changes by overhauling and reengineering the previous model due to recent competition on market. Ford Fusion and Mazda 6 are biggest contenders to defeat so the improvement and redesigning must be done.
The major updates are on its fuel efficiency and transmission. It comes with new 2.5L engine to produce 14% more power and torque. The variable valve lift control and start/stop technology are meant to deliver high fuel economy, 25 mpg in city and 35 mpg in highway. It has 5% and 3% more efficient respectively than previous generation. For refining driving comfort and stability, suspension is reengineered as well as chassis control technology and anti-lock brakes with electronic stability and drag torque control.
Almost all interior aspects are redesigned such as center console, rear and front seat for better knee room and front end look. Seat cushions are also revised with new high quality material in order to deliver increased comfort. The entertainment feature is also improved.
There are also new safety features such as standard air bags, rear view camera system, blind zone and cross traffic alert. The exterior is also revised with changes of aerodynamic style and lower chrome grille opening. GM answers car enthusiasts by presenting 2014 Chevrolet Malibu as best one gets better to deliver more torque, stopping performance, comfortable ride on sports sedan for all driving conditions.
