The release date of 2015 Audi Q7 SUV is confirmed at end of 2014 including unveiled at After Detroit auto show. This full size crossover will come with new changes with large cargo area and three-row seats as well as metallic grille on exterior as new concepts with rectangular LED headlights.
The design will be more powerful, bolder, slimmer and more muscular than 2014 models. The main improvement on its body is located on sloping roofline that has very low ground clearance to optimize down force. The new bumper is aerodynamically designed to maximize air intakes. It is convinced as tough competitors to its rivals such as Porsche Cayenne and BMW X5.
It is reported that this SUV will features engine options, turbo-diesel and supercharged 3.0-liter V-6 engine including hybrid concept that delivers 301 bhp while 4.2-liter V8 TDI can produce 385 bhp. The weight is also redesigned to be lighter, cutting up to 700 lb from previous models with combination of 60% steel, 40% aluminum and other composite materials.
There is no confirmed how much the pricing will be. The current edition of Audi Q7 starts at $47,695. This SUV will be likely launched at Geneva or Paris Motor Show in 2014.
