Claimed as top supercar in market, 2014 Lamborghini Veneno Roadster was unveiled in its official debut on 2013 Abu Dabhi aircraft carrier to represent Italian car industry as a mission. The exterior design seems similar to Veneno Coupe, launched on 2013 Geneva Motor Show. It is like roofless version with sharp aerodynamic and angular style.
Specifications
Like 2013 Lamborghini Aventador, this sports car features 6.5-liter V-12 engine and modified ISR transmission by delivering higher performance on power and torque. Yes, the engine can produce 740 hp which is reengineered focusing on high speed cornering stability and optimum aerodynamics for better real dynamic driving. That’s why there will be smooth transitions on diffuser to four large exhaust pipes divided by a splitter so down-force is optimized on high level.
To get lighter weight, some components are made of carbon fiver so higher ration of power to ratio is gained for about 1.93hp/kg as well as increasing driving fun due to ESP handling system. The visible improvements are on stylish design on sills and central tunnel which made of carbon fiber monocoque. The racing chassis is reengineered with pushrod suspension and horizontal spring.
Price
This new Lamborghini Veneno Roadster is still in building process in 2014. The pricing is reported at $4.5 million before taxes. With its highest power output and design, this car delivers what you need to get extreme speed. It took 2.9 seconds from acceleration on 0 to 100 km/h.
